Default AFI - Sing the sorrow (GREAT album)

This album is simply a masterpiece. Though I hate Sum41, their new album, "Does this look infected" is really good as well. (I still view Sum41 as fake punk though.)

This album sing the sorrow has really touched almost every kind of rock it can, I know goths who like it, punks who like it, pop lovers who like it, even my dad likes it! The best song is probably, in my opinion, The Celluloid Dream or Bleed Black.

If you like any rock whatsoever, you will LOVE this CD. Also, if you hate Sum41/Good Charlotte/anyone else like 'em, you'll still like the new Sum41 CD "Does this look infected". So what do you guys think about this CD? Like it/Hate it and why...Also, rate it 1-10

I give it a 10.

I think Sing the Sorrow is a 7. I don't carry any grudge against those bands you listed. Music is music, it needs no label. AFI was traditionally labeled as "punk" for a couple years, they are from the same I area I live in.

well, afi IS punk...And true, labels are sorta lame, but think about it...

These new shitty groups like Good Charlotte and New Found Glory are taking a type of music, and making it mainstream. Where it shouldn't be. Punk was MADE to be underground and to be for the true punks, with true punk beliefs. But these groups are just turning it into commercialized MTV bullshit.

There was a funny article about this in The Onion last week. I didn't think it was too funny until I heard you guys start it up. Keep going - don't let the article deter the clich

That article was complete bullshit, I read it, and hate it. I KNOW what punk is, I've been punk before I was born, it is really all I listen to. That guy can shove a buttplug up his rectum, because all he is, is a attention craving, hypocritical, idiotic faggot.

It was written as a satirical view of punks who don't know punk and claim they do. If you're offended by it, you may be what he pokes fun at Anyway, theonion is supposed to be funny. It's all bullshit and all fake.

I met afi a couple of times. They are friends of my friends. I am now EBHC! If you about AFI, then you know what that means.
