This is just in case you didn't see this topic in the off topic section. I wanna thank you for banning guest out of the irc chat room today, not only did you ban him for no reason whatsoever, you banned the entire school network because of the setup we have here. I want to encourage you to take time and special consideration with the privileges that you have, and don't go crazy with them just because you have the powers. The people here are legit ppl who just wanna run school servers and emulate eq, and it doesn't help when you ban all of them for absolutely no reason. I encourage you to take time and reconsider what you've done, and lift the ban so not only guest can come back and ask for help(which is why he went to begin with) but the rest of the ppl here on the school network can as well.

umm just to correct you, even if bob was guest, the domains don't match because we are behind a proxy/firewall and any tracer you would have run would be invalid. secondly, i tried to access the channel from every computer in the dorm, they were all blocked. Also, all the computers are masked behind a single scrambled ip (which you blocked causing all the computers to be blocked) to prevent hacking. So when you banned single ip, you banned everyone, since essentially , we are all behind that masked ip.
i don't mean to be such a jerk and sorry for the comments earlier, but it made me mad and i know you didn't know what consequences it had. i will talk to guest and get him to apoligize if you will lift the ban.

I have looked at the bannings in the last day. image did the right thing, and I stand behind him. He banned the ONE address he was coming from, not like *.aol.com (which I do a lot). If you have a problem with someone else at YOUR school messing up communication to us, why dont you go bash in their head with a baseball bat? That would knock some sense into them (I hope).

I for one see this as a non-issue. Go gank the trouble maker, dont post negative things on my server.
