Help concerning a Raid on Nagafen

I set up eqemu and its working great...Thanks for all your hard work!!!!

I want to host a raid on Nagafen or Vox or something of that caliber. I was wondering if anyone had db files for something like that?

It seems to me that the challlenge would be to make the encounter a balanced experience and specifically balanced for a certain amount of players.

I am new and I don't know if you guys share particular db files for a particular encounter I know that it has been done I saw a news item about it.

Currently if I try to #zone to Nag lair it kicks me to the desktop.

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

For a raid on eqemu, you would need a very fast and stable server/computer. If you don't, it will be VERY laggy with all the spells, plus it will probably disconnect you.

I was thinking of setting this up for 6-12 players on a p4 1.8 gig with 512m of ram if that is too slow I can rent space at my Isp.

Whats your upload speed? Also, not sure if you can limit how many players connect unless you are doing a private game.

It is a full T1. 1.54 up and 1.54 down. I would do private at first to test then public.

So do you run a public server? Any idea where to get some db files for Nafafen?

You should be fine

I used to run a server, LONG time ago. Last summer I believe it was. Try out Drawde's database.
