Veksar is on!

I was looking through eqgame.exe to see if I could figure out how to get hateplaneb to work when I ran across "Veksar" in the string table. We all know Veksar was initially planned for, but was not released...

Until now.

Server Ops: Insert a new row into the zone table with:

Code:

short_name = veksar
long_name = ?  (i put "city of veksar")
safe x, y, z = -68, 51, -26
zoneidnumber = 109

Other players: Download Veksar from EQLive and then join a server that has put Veksar in this table. Merth's Florida has it.

What's the zone like on live? Is it set up like city of mist, where everything aggros? Any new mobs? Any lore presented? And how do you get to it?

Veksar is a confusing zone, and a creepy mix of an open area and a one-way dungeon. And the buildings don't look Iksar at all.

Yea, great exp zone for mid 50's deeper in ya go, pretty decent darn loot from what ive seen too.
