FAIRWELL Confusing [READ DEVS PLEASE]

Ok, first of all, I have read about how the system is being re-done and stuff, and I have read about reverting to the old system. I still do not get this concept that you are doing! If someone cannot do something better, I will be forced to alert Verant and SOE of every single Developer name, email, IM, and website. Now, I know that is not what you wish; Trumpcard, Shawn319, and Hogie, but some people have lives, and I know you do too. I am saying that maybe you should work out an official deal with SOE, because I think that the welfare of your family and friends is not worth risking for a opensource project around the world.

I would also like to congratulate you on your opensource project success though. My newspaper here wrote an article on it on my request, asking how many people played. I had 92 replies. You have created the most highly difficult, challenging, and daring game that the world has known. I would like everyone to post a cheer, for Hogie, and everyone else, are the ones you made this project possible!

I would like to say, despite my love of EQEmu, and this very devoted project, I am leaving EQEmu and going back to EQlive, I love everybody, I admire Hogie, and I apologize to all those who created this project that I had not further helped.

I am also leaving several large lump sums on paypal for you Hogie, they will be deposited over a period of every 2 weeks. OK? I still believe in "The Project" but I am getting a guide position at EQLive. Who knows, maybe I will "sneak" a couple of upcoming updates dates for you.

Sony KNOWS about the project, they probably even visit it every once and a while to find out how we are coming along.

Now this really pisses me off.. I'm sick and tired of being 'threatened' because of the snide little snipes that come running into this project....

Verant has known about us for ages. Do you think they can't browse the internet just like you? There have even been communications between them and us.

Those guys have been nice enough to let us run with this project as we're not bothering them, hell , I'm all for EQ and wish them nothing but success, I loved playing the game. Ultimately, we just build support for them, none of our little servers will ever be a 24x7 gaming machine that theirs are, and we know that. Do you think we worry them??

Oh, by the way, what you're admitting to falls into at least 2 attempted criminal categories.

1) Blackmail - Extortion of money or something else of value from a person by the threat of exposing a criminal act or discreditable information.

What we do is not a criminal act, but from your understanding of it it does, therefore you are with forewith knowledge blackmailing us.

2) Libel - written defamation of character with the intent to do personal harm.

Bribery is debatable since in the true sense of the word no one in this project is an official.

I've read his text, and claiming to have $200 (WOW!!!! Didn't kabalah give that? Yay kabalah!!!) isn't going to make me like him any more. $200 isn't much on the scale of things. It all adds, but I think a threat of $2k would have more effect (and be less tangibly believable).

His dad would send us the $200 too! Yay!

Theo, a few things:

1. Grow up.
2. Grow up.
3. Get a high school diploma before you start acting big and bad on the internet.
4. Get a job where you learn some respect, not pizza delivery. Maybe you could learn humility there, then respect later.
5. Learn some patience.

I've read your posts, and you strike me as a whiny adolescent, whose life is run by his parents. How can they claim the rights to remove your PC and TV? Did they purchase these things for you? Did they do you that favor? You didn't want to do your chores, and so you take things out on us? Your girlfriend dumps you and you threaten us? You're not the first baby to pull the "I'm telling" card on us. It hasn't worked the other 12 times I've seen it.

So Theo, I don't like you. I doubt I will ever like you. First impressions stick. Learn some manners and interpersonal skills.
