Default The Custom Helm Look

Have a small problem, why doesnt the Custom helm look show up? the regular peices show up (as a plain old helm), but the custom helm has no graphic at all, not even the reg. old look.
Now i -Think- there was one exception, Custom crown of the Kromzek. Although it did not have a custom look to it (it did have just a plain old helm look), None of the custom items had the custom look!

Now, i dont have velious armor graphics turned on, But on EQlive, the custom helms have ALWAYS showed up, i really dont think thats the problem is it? Would very much appreciate bits of info please, thanks alot!
Have a good one!

Default helm look reply

well...

I havnt played for as long as alot of people but maybe you could just try using a helm you kinda like and change the color or something because if you cant use the grafic change the color may give it a different look you might like

When creating your item, what number did you use for the material? There's different models you can use. For example, material 3 gives you plate armor look, but material 22 gives you Luclin plate armor look. Here's a list in case you weren't aware of the materials:

0 Armor (cloth)
1 Armor (leather)
2 Armor (chain)
3 Armor (plate)
4 Armor (monk)
5 Armor (chitin)
7 Armor (scale)
10 Robe (advisor pattern)
11 Robe (FBR pattern)
12 Robe (ishva pattern)
13 Robe (oracle pattern)
14 Robe (kedge pattern)
15 Robe (SMR pattern)
16 Robe (plain)
17 Armor (icy)
18 Armor (dragonskin)
19 Armor (stability pattern)
20 Armor (ulthork)
21 Armor (ry'gorr pattern)
22 Armor (guardian pattern)

Default Custom Helm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My old main in EQLive had a Custom Cowl of Mortality as a 51 monk, I loved it way too much. Wouldn't wear Luclin models because it would end up being a black helmet. But I have the same problem in EQemu, custom doesn't show up. :( I don't think there's an immediate fix to it, probably has to be implemented... Dunno -=)
