Default As of when?

You guys say the new EQEMU patch will make it run with "EQ Live" but EQ live as of when? There was a patch not to long ago I believe and another even closer... if I patched today have I allready screwed myself over or can I keep patching untill all the new version's bugs are worked out?

I don't really want to make a copy of the files considering I don't play EQ Live anymore... I was just wondering when the best time to stop patching would be..

Right now I can't even log into the server list because is says I have the incorrect version? didn't read many other threads but I didn't see that mentioned.. maybe it's just me lol

that happened to me too, don't get the patches for the upcoming exspansion, they seemed to screw it up , I over-wrote with my backup and tried again , without the upcoming exspansion files and it worked fine.

there are checkboxes for a bunch of different files in the advanced patch portion, just don't get the files for the new exspansion and you should be ok.

Bah, no dice.... I just patched to EqLive (not checking the new expansion) and I can't login. I get to the login screen, enter my username/pass and immediately get the Incorrect Version Error.

Yep me too, restored from a semi old backup of my EQ directory and downloaded only kunark/velious/luclin/PoP and it still gave me the same message, tried adding LoY and it didn't help either =(

Default doesnt matter

it doesnt matter if you have the new expansion box checked or not it just gives you the file anyway...i tried it like 5 times and it always give me the incorrect version error :( luckily i have a back-up file for the non-LoY EQEmu so i can still play but id rather play LoY
