Default A Question?!

I have a few questions..
Do you need to use the EQEmu Patcher still? or can you justs tick the eqhost.txt from www.eqemulator.net into your EQ folder, and run EQWindow?

The patcher is no longer used.

If you last pactched back when the patcher *was* being used, you'll be set for the 0.4.4 servers.

If you are new to this, or have since lost your install/patch, you need to patch EQ from the EQLive servers, thic means running the official patcher from EQ. Once you do that, you can play on the 0.5.0 servers.

So, no, the patcher is no longer used.

Cheers,

Predominant

Please point out where you saw this mention of 'patcher', and i'll do my best to eradicate this to avoid confusion in the future. Post the URL, please.
