the only problem is that I got a LD pretty soon each time I connect to the server (usually one that has some players already in the server list) , I'd like to know if it's due to the server unstability or the "beta nature" of EQemu, which is an incredible step to break S O E 's unstoppable cash machine.

Have you changed your #datarate?

I am hosting 5.0DR3 on a cable connection, and my buddy connected to my server last night on DSL. Was timing out ALL OVER the place.

Changed his datarate to 8.0......flawless ping after that.

He said he hadn't seen a ping that low on EQLIVE EVER.....

We'll see how that changes once the NPC's mobs etc gets added tonight.
