Default Patching to Live

I've recently installed titantium and followed the directions for EQemu setup. However after entering all the necessary info (eqhost, patchme steps) i double click on the shortcut i made and it goes directly to the global SOE patch server. Afterwards i check and my target box in the shortcut and it still has 'patchme' there; my eqhost file is fine (Host=eqemulator.net:599. I cant even connect with EQemu! Help! thanks in advance!

First of all vista sucks heheh anyways:

make sure the shortcut discretely says:

Code:
"D:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

replacing the drive letter and/or path to yours.

As for your eqhost.txt, it should look like this:

Code:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998
Hopefully this helps you

That's ok - we also are not into OS bashing (this can get ugly), so we don't need to continue on that.

just a note folks, Vista will not let you save the modified eqhosts.txt unless you are running notepad as an administrator or you have user account control disabled. Good Luck
