Default Merchants

Is there no longer a rule to stop merchants from selling sold items??

I want to have merchants in the guild hall but if there are multiple instances of a merchant in seperate places players can duplicate items.. Is there some way for me to be able to turn this off on some merchants and on for others? Or just disable it all together ..

The most recent db from the svn still has a MerchantsKeepItems field in variables:
Code:
Merchants keep items sold to them | 0 - off | 1 - on |
I don't know if it still works.

That may be because it's in variables.
