Default PULLING MY HAIR OUT!

Ok. Now to calm myself and give the problem reasonably.

I'm running two Windows 2000 boxes. One to act as server and one to act as client. I have internet connection sharing up and running to give both machines net access, though that's mainly for my client software.

Here's the archtecture:

Internet
|
Server 192.168.0.1
|
Client 192.168.0.2

I get the server up and running on the server machine fine. I run eqw on my client machine and try to log in through eqemu1.eqemu.net; this is the output to the worldserver window:

122707 New client from ip: 192.168.0.2 port: 144

It is my understanding that ICS changes the packet sizes. That's fine, but how do I fix this?

I CANNOT install a router on my network, because it is incompatible with my internet connection hardware.

So needless to say, I'm stumped and about -><- this close to just deleting the server altogether.

Any ideas? I've been at this for days.
