IMO the entire thing is just an excuse for power tripping hypocrites to control other people and virtue signal about what good people they are (while behaving the opposite, ie. zero respect for peoples personal freedoms, differences of opinion, open public discourse), nothing more.

I get the overall sentiment here. But it's terrifying that people don't even understand the First Amendment. The FA specifically prohibits the federal government from creating laws or punishing people for speaking their minds.
What it DOES NOT do, is protect people from the social consequences of their actions and words. The owners of this server have rules, and you either abide by their rules or you play elsewhere. It's as simple as that. Take your medicine, accept it and stay, or move on.
