a server -- they just want a game place. A handful don't mind not even being on the Internet, they just want to run their own private server with no one else on it.
The middle group is the one that is harder to deal with because they want their own accounts and to have people access their servers through the Internet. The configuration for that is a login server, a world server, and a set of zone servers.
Although I am interested in the source concerning eqemu, I am not at all interested in the login server source and would be more than happy to pull a binary. GPL doesn't require that you distribute the source, just to make the source available. I also would like a choice between Linux and Windows binary. If someone needs a HP or Sun flavor Unix, then someone will have to volunteer to deal with the Unix port.
I would answer questions dealing with the the loginserver setup and operation, but not at all with the compiling.
