hmm I installed everquest,patched through everquest.exe,ran the eqpatcher and checked run eq,but it doesn't load!

Default Newbie needs help 1017 error
When i try to log in it takes me to 1017 error and boots me out

when i try to install the patcher to my eq directory, it says the source file is unavailable. it does this everytime. :(
