You will be able to pick which God you want to serve.
You will also be able quit serving a god at any time...but don't think the God will like that very much traitors will be treated as criminals to that God, he/she will ingore you (roleplay wise only of course) and take any items you have gotten from him/her away.

Each god will have his/her own special traits and such.
Gods will give out quests and give out rewards for serving them faithfuly over time.
Note: When sending a tell to a God it should be STRICTLY out of character(example: I need soandso moved he is stuck and cannot log on), if you wish to talk to a God use /shout /say etc etc.

this is the latest news for the server, i can honestly say this is an awesome addtion, eq live should be like this with their gods, and not just make then uber/mindless mobs
