Default Skills and autoincrementing.

I think the server should automatically set all skills to one on newly created characters. Would this cause a gameplay problem? If you;re not that char. class you shouldnt have a need for it anyways. OR maybe set all skills of certain classes to one, for the ones they need. See this thread for more info.

That would be a good idea - most characters start off with 0 in all skills at the minute, and since guild trainers don't work, and you need status 10 to set skills yourself, on public servers you can't hit a thing until you ask a GM to set your skills.
It would also be good if more skills (other than weapons skills) went up automatically when used, such as Sense Heading and tradeskills.

a quick way to do it is to implement a quest on every PoD with a #setallskill 1(thats what I do on my server )

this used to be implemented but was taken out, would be simple to reimplement
